Tallent Sausage Mushroom Swiss Sliders

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Tallent Sausage Mushroom Swiss Sausage (formed into small patties or sliced if in link form)
  • 8 Hawaiian rolls or slider buns 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup mushrooms, sliced ½ small onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese (cut in half to fit sliders) 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Butter Topping (Optional but Delicious!):

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried parsley

Instructions:

1. Cook the Sausage Patties

  • Form Tallent Sausage Mushroom Swiss Sausage into small slider-sized patties (if using links, slice them into rounds).
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage patties for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.

2. Sauté the Mushrooms & Onions

  • In the same pan, melt 1 tbsp butter and add sliced mushrooms and onions.
  • Sauté for 5-7 minutes until soft and caramelized. Season with garlic powder and black pepper. Remove from heat.

3. Make the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.

4. Assemble the Sliders

  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half.
  • Spread the Dijon mayo sauce on the bottom half of each roll.
  • Place a sausage patty on each bun, followed by the mushroom & onion mixture and half a slice of Swiss cheese.
  • Place the top half of the rolls back on.

5. Bake for the Ultimate Flavor (Optional but Recommended!)

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Brush the tops of the sliders with melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
  • Cover loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes (or until cheese melts).

6. Serve & Enjoy!

  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside fries or a salad!
